Mosset Tavern
The Mosset Tavern is a pub and dining room situated in the Moray town of Forres.
Rona Douglas Interiors were asked to create an interior for the public bar which was in need of refurbishment following the upgrade of the restaurant.
The saw tooth roof, which had been covered up for years, was exposed to create a dramatic double height space, into which we suspended a stunning chandelier made from antlers. The colour palette flows from the restaurant through to the bar, however the bar still manages to retain it's own identity with bright cobalt tones. A wood burning stove was installed to create a cosy seating area, while elsewhere banquet seating has been used to add flexibility for different sizes of groups. With a mix of eclectic furniture and lighting the interior has a bright, relaxed and naturally evolved aesthetic.
